The 1/2 format (or Kleine Stühle/ "small chair") appeared in 1885 at THONET in order to optimize seating capacity in public establishments. The model shown here in half is the “elegant” post-war version, with arches. Version with a seat height of 47 cm, height of the living room chair. Seat diameter: 37 cm - THONET stamp under each seat. Thermoformed wooden seats with a specific pattern from Thonet. Very good general condition and beautiful deep blond patina - original walnut-brown tone - More information and photos on request.
