Porcelain set "Colombina" Fürstenberg, Germany

Set of porcelain pieces from Fürstenberg, "Colombina" series, Germany, second half of the 20th century. This set includes several decorative and utilitarian elements with soft, balanced shapes, characteristic of the Colombina series. The gradient blue decoration, applied in regular geometric patterns, highlights the contrast between the whiteness of the porcelain and the deep shades of blue. The set includes: A covered box (model no. 1378), A gourd-shaped vase (model no. 1381), A handled vase, Two decorative bowls, A small rounded vase (model no. 1379), A large rounded vase (model no. 1379/2), A matching ashtray. Overall condition very good, with signs of use consistent with age. Note: – slight scratches in the decoration on one decorative bowl, barely visible, – small glaze defect at the bottom of the ashtray, not visible when the item is placed down. Porcelain marked Fürstenberg – Colombina underneath. A coherent set, representative of German design from the second half of the 20th century, well suited for both a contemporary interior and a collection of European ceramics.
