A colorful Breton piece for this charming plate signed Henriot Quimper, hand-decorated with a stylized pheasant in a range of blues, reds, and greens, on an ivory background. The beautifully scalloped edge, highlighted with a discreet line, gives this piece a charming relief. The F14 decoration is an emblematic motif of the 50s–60s, less common than traditional Breton scenes, and appreciated for its almost exotic animal touch.
