Set of 3 fine earthenware plates by Sainte-Radegonde, a renowned French artisan manufacturer. These unique pieces, lovingly hand-decorated, feature a charming motif of stylized birds with a naive line, delicately highlighted by an elegant raspberry pink border around the edge. Two plates feature a single bird, a simple and poetic silhouette, and one plate features a group of three birds, dynamic and joyful. Each piece is hand-painted, so it is unique, with slight variations that add to its charm. These plates perfectly embody post-war French craftsmanship, with a naive style reminiscent of popular illustrations. Stamped hand-painted Ste Radegonde: Sainte Radegonde earthenware factory founded in 1887 by Frédéric Gustave Asch in Deux-Sèvres (79) which experienced a period of great activity, particularly during the 1920s and 1930s, ending its activity in the 1970s. Very good vintage condition, very shiny, without chips or cracks, traces of pernettes on the back which give them their artisanal character. Diameter 24 cm Ideal for lovers of hand-painted earthenware and collectors of authentic objects with retro charm.
