Set of 10 flat plates in fine earthenware, manufactured by K&G Lunéville, model Pierre, produced during the interwar period, around the 1930s. Printed decoration in two tones, deep blue and red, arranged in a double circular line framing a regular frieze of small crosshatch patterns. This repetitive graphic, almost textile, evokes a discreet scattering, applied with precision on a slightly shaded ivory background. A composition that appears simple, yet is very controlled in its rhythm and balance. Earthenware with a light body, typical of Lunéville productions, with a glossy glaze. Mark on the reverse "K&G Lunéville France". Diameter 23 cm. Height 2 cm. Tableware that does not seek to impress. It establishes something else: a calm, precise, almost silent table. €100.
