Rattan and bamboo lamp by Louis Sognot 1960

Fantastic and rare. Beautiful patina and pretty honey color as we like. Vintage bamboo and rattan table lamp, from the 50s-60s, in the style of the famous french designer and architect louis sognot. It consists of an inner shade with a type of textured parchment paper surrounded by an openwork rattan orb-shaped cage, on a circular rattan base. A decorative element in itself, it will find its place in any type of interior and will be perfect as a bedside lamp or on a side table in the living room, a desk, a shelf. Very good state of conservation considering its age. Traces of oxidation on the metal part and a few stains on the paper part without consequence. Small paint stains on the base. Original electricity in perfect working order. Plastic cord with an “on-off” switch. B22 bayonet bulb (supplied) dimensions: h28 X l17 X p17 cable length: 130 cm weight: 300 grams.
