Set of 6 antique Louis XVI style dining chairs with caning.

Set of six antique dining chairs from the late 19th century, made of mahogany and walnut in the Louis XVI style. The wood has a warm brown colour, with variations in grain and tone among the chairs. Each chair features a woven cane seat and backrest, all in good condition. The chairs measure 44 cm wide, giving them relatively narrow proportions, ideal for being arranged around a dining table without taking up too much space. The seat height is 46 cm. The combination of wooden frames and open cane seats complements both a wooden table and a painted table. The chairs can be kept together as a dining set or used individually elsewhere in the home. The front legs are straight and tapered, featuring turned details at the top, with decorative metal rosettes at the junction between the legs and the seat frame. Small metal caps finish the front legs. The wooden frames have a warm brown colour, with differences in tone and grain. Sold together as a set of six chairs. The price stated is for the complete set.
