Pair of DSX chairs by Eames for Herman Miller, 1960

Rare pair of charles & ray eames chairs, dsx side chair models edited by herman miller in the 1960s (1959 to 1972. These are presented in a version with very beautiful upholstery in orange and dark orange chevron fabric for the first, and orange and ecru for the second. The lighter version has a small hole in the seat, the foam is not touched. The dark version is in perfect condition. The legs are chrome plated and the seat shells are made of polyester resin and fiberglass. The shells have some normal scratches due to their age but have no major defects. The legs are in impeccable condition and have the original skates. The foams are also in very good condition. The chairs are both signed herman miller and mobilier international under the hull. History: designed by charles & ray eames in the 50s, the particular lines and innovative material of these chairs have marked the history of design. In these orange versions in herringbone fabric, these chairs have not aged a bit... Comfort, remarkable design and pop color, the eames dsx chair by herman miller is a safe bet.
