2 chairs Thonet n°14 1/2 canned, circa 1914

Pair of chairs n°14 1/2 tuna. The 1/2 format (or kleine stühle/ "small chair") appeared in 1885 (rrr 10) at thonet in order to optimize seating capacities in public establishments. The model here present in half is the "elegant" version of 1903 with 47 cm of seat height. Intended for pretty interiors! Seat diameter 38 cm, original option: side buttresses that contribute to their longevity. Total height: 86 cm. Label and tuna stamp under each seat.
