Painting drawing "portrait of a woman" 1845 by augustin-luc demoussy (1809-1880)

Magnificent original drawing made in graphite dated 1845 representing a portrait of a young woman with a brooch. Very beautifully crafted for this work created and signed by the hand of a distinguished artist: augustin-luc demoussy (1809-1880). The drawing is in good condition considering its age (made on bistre paper, some extremely discreet spots of foxing). Sold with its period frame (frame mounted with keys, blackened guilloché wood with inclusion of brass edging, two are missing, and period glass, work never dismantled). The frame has signs of use (marks and scratches). Dimensions of the view: 20.5 / 25.5 cm, with frame: 29.5 / 34.5 cm
