Table lamp by Tommaso Barbi This beautiful lamp designed by Tommaso Barbi in Italy will leave no one indifferent. Here, love at first sight doesn't happen, and that's a good sign. This is often what happens with timeless objects. Indeed, you won't tire of this lamp. Finely studied lines, a metal shade that simply rests on its support, and perfectly matched colors. Burgundy, creamy white, and the gold color of brass blend wonderfully. Very well made, it is composed of metal, Bakelite, and brass. It has been serviced and works perfectly. Tommaso Barbi was a very active designer in the 60s and 70s and is well known for his leaf lamp. Very close to the Hollywood Regency style, he used a lot of brass but also Murano glass and marble in his creations. Note a few small snags on the lampshade or a slight oxidation of the brass.
