Chrome metal butter dish and glass Garance Vallée Monoprix

For Monoprix, the creative reinterprets the striking atmosphere of her workshop to deliver a series of “domestic sculptures.” Blending the useful with art, forms with materiality, bold colours with monochromes, Garance Vallée puts all her affection for late 19th-century design, just twisted with 90s minimalism, into the service of metal candle holders, chrome vases, tattooed tableware, and mirrors pulsing with devastating charisma. It’s beautiful, it’s chiselled, and fiercely useful. To tide you over until 23 April, here’s a sneak peek in images.
