LC4 Pony chaise longue by Le Corbusier, 1960s. An icon of modern design, the LC4 chaise longue, nicknamed the "resting machine, " was designed in 1928 by Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand, and Pierre Jeanneret, and later produced by Cassina from the 1960s onward. This "Pony" model is distinguished by its spotted cowhide upholstery, combined with an adjustable seat on its semicircular tubular base, offering both comfort and adaptability. Good overall condition, slight wear to the leather on the seat, consistent with age and use.
