Antique painting with sailboat on rough sea, dating from around 1900. Beautiful oil on canvas painting depicting a San Francisco Pilot Schooner sailboat on a rough sea, executed in a realistic, maritime style typical of that period. It is signed in the lower left, but unfortunately unclear. The painting has been relined and cleaned in the past. On the back of the frame is the name Wilmart, but it is unknown if this is related to the painter.
