Charming set of seven antique/vintage dessert plates in very fine white Limoges porcelain, translucent in the light, unmarked but originating from the B&C° factory, Bernardaud et Compagnie, with the remainder of the service included. Produced between 1920 and 1950. Elegant octagonal design with a wide rim, a typical Art Deco shape. Multicolored floral transfer decoration with a blue border, spring-like, warm, cheerful, and traditional. 22 cm in diameter and 2.3 cm high. In used condition, the decoration and rims show manufacturing flaws and wear to the transfer. There are also some imperfections in the glaze on the surfaces, exhibiting a subtle bubbly texture. A few utensil marks. Some have a patina, some show manufacturing imperfections. No cracks or chips. Minor signs of use. Approximately 250 g each. Hand washing recommended; occasional dishwasher use on a gentle, low-temperature cycle is acceptable.
