Louis XV Rococo style armchair

Elegant Louis XV style armchair in carved and partially gilded wood. This armchair features beautiful proportions and meticulous carving: • Curved armrests. • Cabriole legs. • Central cartouche carved on the seat and backrest. • Original gilding still present. The original beige and gold floral fabric adds a lot of charm, even though it shows signs of wear and some tears (see photos). The structure is solid. The upholstery has been redone with foam (modern technique). Ideal piece for: • A restoration/upholstery project. • A classic, romantic, or eclectic interior. • Adding a touch of French elegance.
