Louis XV style armchair with floral jacquard upholstery.

Salon armchair in the Louis XV style, with a structure made of polished mahogany wood. The medallion backrest features a moulded and sculpted outline typical of the rococo repertoire. The slightly flared cabriole legs are finished in a glossy lacquer. The upholstery is entirely made of cream background jacquard tapestry, adorned with polychrome floral bouquets — roses, peonies, and foliage — in shades of pink, mauve, yellow, and green. A pale pink braided trim carefully borders the junctions between the tapestry and the frame. The compact proportions and manufacturing characteristics place this piece at the beginning of the 20th century, produced in the Louis XV style. General condition: the structure is solid. There are visible chips at the base of the legs, revealing the raw wood in places — some minor restorations are to be expected in this regard. The upholstery is in good visual condition.
