Old Alsatian terrine with blue flower Baeckeoffe, with lid, 35 cm

Beautiful oval terrine in glazed earthenware, of Alsatian type for Baeckeoffe, accompanied by its presumed original lid. Its deep blue base is adorned with a cream and green floral decoration, accented with touches of brown-orange. An ochre border highlights its contours, while the lid's handle is decorated with light stripes. A charming piece for a collection of regional pottery or a country-style kitchen decoration. Dimensions. Length: 35 cm. Width: 22 cm. Total height: 15 cm. Condition: There is a hairline crack starting from the upper edge and extending onto the inner wall of the terrine, as well as two chips on the inner edge of the lid. These defects are shown in the photographs.
