Very beautiful creation by the DRAPIER house, located at 23 rue du Faubourg St Antoine, Paris, as evidenced by the stamp under the top. Drapier presents himself as a "Sculptor" and "Manufacturer of Tableware (?)". He also offered very lovely furniture, including this charming little table, with a scalloped and extendable top at the ends. Made of beautiful speckled wood, it features elaborate mechanisms to keep the extendable parts in place when opened, demonstrating the quality of the craftsmanship. The four curved legs are also very well proportioned and give this table a noble stance. It opens at the front with a beautiful drawer bordered by a solid wood strip, which opens and closes perfectly with its original key and lock. The inside of the drawer is also made of beautiful varnished wood, further proof of attention to detail. The top is very pretty as well, with its deep and luminous wood, adorned with its original patina. There are a few minor signs of usual wear here and there, some pale marks on the top but without any real impact, and it is in excellent overall condition, ready to be used in a living room, a somewhat plush bedroom, or even an entrance. L (open): 102 cm. L (closed): 60 cm. D: 50 cm. H: 69 cm. The price is firm, thank you. Delivery possible in IDF to your doorstep for 40 euros. For other inquiries, please contact me.
