Bureau commode balbée in Louis XV style, opening with a large flap revealing an interior fitted with small drawers and storage compartments. The undulating front features two large richly moulded and sculpted drawers with rocaille and leafy decorations in the taste of the 18th century. The piece rests on curved legs ending in scrolls, typical of the Louis XV style. The flap is lined with an old brown leather writing surface, providing a practical and elegant writing space. A high-quality 20th-century piece, made of moulded and sculpted wood, presented here in a more recent anthracite grey patina that gives it a very contemporary decorative appeal.
