Size 75 cm X 64 cm X 82, 5 cm. Condition very good. New upholstery in high quality leather by Sorensen, Denmark. Bibliographie Gilbert Frey “The Modern Chair 1850 to Today”, Verlag Arthur Niggli AG p. 117. Swan Chair Designed by Arne Jacobsen 1958 for the lounge area of the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. The chair does not have a marking of the manufacturer. The authenticity was confirmed by Fritz Hansen. The model is the execution with return mechanism / WIP function. The chair comes from first ownership and was bought at the end of the 1960s, early in the 1970s. The armchair was re-padded in Denmark and covered with a high-quality leather of Sorensen.
