Very rare desk + chair “3105” – Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen (1955) Exceptional set consisting of a school desk and its chair model “3105”, created by Arne Jacobsen (1902–1971) for Munkegaard school, published by Fritz Hansen in 1955. An emblematic example of Danish design applied to educational furniture: both sleek, ergonomic, and decidedly modern. The desk rests on a nickel-plated tubular metal structure forming two lateral arches, with rubber feet. It includes an asymmetrical locker made of thermoformed beech plywood, topped with a green almond laminate top. The “3105” chair, large size, is made of a molded beech plywood seat and backrest, with a matching metal structure. Dimensions: • Desk: H 72 × W 62 × D 61 cm. • Chair: H 76.5 × W 40.6 × D 47 cm. Rare on the market, this set will find its place in a design interior combining utilitarian furniture and collectible pieces. In the spirit of the work of Poul Kjærholm, Finn Juhl, Grete Jalk, or even Jean Prouvé and Charlotte Perriand, it embodies a functional and humanistic vision of furniture. #design #desk #Scandinavian #vintage #Jacobsen.
