Floor lamp A.V. Mazzega

1970s Mazzega floor lamp, featuring a Murano glass shade and Space Age/atomic aesthetic. It rests on a polished chrome circular base, with a single tall, slender chrome pole rising straight into an elegant, streamlined cylindrical shape. The chrome finish is bright and highly reflective, offering a futuristic and glamorous shine. Three milky white/frosted opaline glass globes are mounted on their own arms at varying heights in a stacked/superimposed arrangement. They appear to be secured by chrome fittings. The three globes have a soft, rounded, almost bubble-like shape. The light diffuses into a soft, diffuse white exterior, with a warm amber/orange core. Layered and sculptural light effect, creating a gentle ambient glow from the three orbs at varying levels — ideal for a corner or small reading space. This model is very characteristic of Italian design from the 1970s. The vertical stacking on a slender chrome rod gives it an almost imposing elegance.
