Description
The storage compartment is in perfect condition, no accidents, no cracks or chips. It is a very pretty, beautifully crafted ceramic, with a matte, barely satiny milky white enamel, decorated with small, very free yellow and black graphic patterns, as if cast by a few strokes of a pencil. The shape is harmonious, halfway between a stylized leaf and an imaginary shell, made of a beautiful mixture of round and organic volumes, and more drawn elements. The piece is not marked, but it is typical of some vallauris ceramics from the 1950s. I think it is a piece by the ceramist and artist andré baud. French production of very good quality, from the 50s.
