For sale, a superb piece of period design: a large high storage library/wardrobe made of solid blond oak, designed by the famous French designer duo Robert Guillerme and Jacques Chambron for their publishing house "Votre Maison" (circa 1960). This iconic model perfectly embodies the French modernist and brutalist style of the mid-20th century. Features & Finishes: • Original ceramics: Incorporates a beautiful continuous frieze of geometric patterned two-tone glazed ceramic tiles on its lower niche. The tiles are in perfect condition (no chips, no cracks). • Signature details: Sculpted handles in relief on a wooden plate with original twisted metal knobs. • Storage: The upper part opens with two wide sliding doors in oak and a left side hinged door with numerous solid wood shelves. The lower part has 3 large lined drawers. • Accessories: Sold with its 2 functional original keys. Condition: Very nice original vintage condition.
