Small vintage sideboard with 2 sliding doors, 2 interior shelves, 1 interior drawer from the 1950s-1960s. It rests on compass feet. It has a shelf in the lower part with an asymmetrical part typical of modernist furniture. This piece of furniture embodies the aesthetics of french reconstruction in the 1950s, combining functionality and understated elegance. Designed by roger landault, a major figure in post-war design, this solid oak and oak veneer sideboard reflects refined cabinetmaking work. Its clean lines, characteristic of french modernism of the time, are enhanced by a subtle play of volumes and reliefs. Note a small glass halo on the top on the right (see photo) which in no way detracts from the charm and authenticity of the piece of furniture. Dimensions: width 125 cm maximum depth with the bottom shelf 56 cm. Height of the niche 29 cm. Height 120 cm.
