Old bilboquet in blue lacquered wood

Pretty bilboquet in lacquered wood in a rather unusual midnight blue color. I don't know what wood it is, but the ball is very heavy and dense. It probably dates from the 50s or 60s. In addition to being a beautiful decorative vintage object, it is functional: no chips, no cracks, the string is solid. But it does not hide its age and the use that was made of it: marks of “hits” with gaps on the paint or not. It measures 20 cm in height, the ball measures approximately 9 cm in diameter, the string measures 38 cm long. It weighs 330 g including 260 for the ball.
