Rare Art Deco "skyscraper" suspension attributed to Crown Crystal Glass (Australia), circa 1935. The central part, in the shape of a fluted cylinder, is made of cream opaline glass with a base featuring a pressed glass diffuser with geometric decoration that disperses light well. Metal mount and suspension by chain. Three tightening screws hold the glass in the mount. Very good overall condition. • Height of the globe: 29 cm. • Diameter: approximately 20 cm. • Length of the chain + metal mount: 47 cm. The electrical wiring needs to be redone before any use. Sold as is.
