Exceptional and very rare collector's piece signed by the famous ceramist Roger Capron (1922-2006). This bottle from the "Alcools" series is an emblematic work of French design from the 50s-60s, combining the elegance of Vallauris earthenware with Pop-Baroque graphics. This item features a rare design as it can be transformed into a lamp base. The piece has a hole at the back and a large opening under the base, originally intended for an invisible and secure electrical fitting. An ideal opportunity to transform it into a lamp base and create a unique designer light fixture. Signature under the base "Capron Vallauris France". Blue floral decoration on immaculate white enamel, black lettering "GIN" in a distinctive style. In superb condition, very shiny enamel, no cracks.
