19th-century mirror, finely carved wood, to be placed or hung, 65x47 cm, D302.
Here is a very beautiful mirror with a carved wooden frame with a waxed patina. Finely carved with leafy scrolls adorned and flanked by floral drops. Louis XV style. Period: 1850-1900. Beautiful patina of time that the photos do not do justice to. This mirror can be hung or placed at an adjustable angle. Originally, there was a wooden screw to secure the angle. It has been replaced by a brass screw with a lock nut (photo 12). The mirror itself is original, it has silvering and shows small bright spots not visible in the photos. Dimensions: external: 65x47x5 cm, Mirror view: 42x34 cm, Weight: 2.900 kg. Carefully packaged: approximately 5/6 kg. Condition: the whole is in very beautiful condition and appearance, with no missing parts, chips, or repairs, signs of age, as shown in the photos. Any questions! Feel free to ask...
