Pharmacy chest of drawers, 1960

Large Dutch chest of drawers dating from around 1960, originally made for the organised storage of small items and parts. The chest is made of wood with a warm brown finish and features a large number of drawers in various sizes. Each drawer is fitted with a metal handle and a label holder. The clean, functional design is characteristic of industrial workshop and archive furniture from the mid-20th century. On the rear is an old company stamp from The Hague. The cabinet shows slight signs of wear consistent with its age.
