The Shanghai Togo Sofa from 2012 is a rare, limited edition sofa from Ligne Roset. This version, with armrests, is especially hard to find. The cover was designed by artist Cristian Zuzunga, who collaborated with Ligne Roset in 2008 to create the exclusive 'pixel' print for key furniture pieces marking the 150th anniversary of Ligne Roset. Cristian Zuzunga, born in 1978 to a Catalan mother and Peruvian father, is known for his multidisciplinary work in print, letterpress, photography, sculpture, textile, and furniture design. His designs are influenced by colour psychology, architecture, urban environments, nature, philosophy, and more. Michel Ducaroy designed the Togo in 1973 for Ligne Roset, and it remains popular today. The Togo was the first piece of furniture made entirely of foam, featuring an ergonomic design with polyether foam in five different densities. This iconic piece offers exceptional comfort for relaxing. The sofa is in very good vintage condition, with only light wear consistent with age and use, and a blue spot on the back right side.
