Beautiful antique triptych mirror from a barber, circa 1920, in good condition. This superb piece weighs over 3.5kg and is a gem. It has survived a century to reach us in splendid condition. The hexagonal bevelled mirrors are impeccable, although somewhat speckled here and there; given the weight of the whole, they are certainly made of crystal. The frame displays an absolutely delightful lead patina, and the cubic shape of the feet is noteworthy, as are the cubes that hold the heavy chain, typical geometric shapes of the Art Deco period on this triptych with rare hexagonal panels. The solid and elegant hinges are also commendable. The thick cardboard back features original and abstract patterns, and is generally in good condition, with its colour well preserved. Each panel measures 31 cm in height (33 cm with the feet) and 25 cm in width at the bottom. When fully opened, it measures 33×78 cm.
