Pine pitch screen – A.C. Paris, 1920s–1930s

This antique screen was made in France in the 1920s–1930s. It is constructed from pitch pine and bears the mark A.C. Paris. This large folding screen can be used as a decorative separator, privacy screen, or architectural element. Its generous width makes it suitable for dividing a room, concealing an area, or adding height and character to an interior. The pitch pine has developed a warm colour and a patinated surface over time.
