Bowl / small vintage ceramic cache-pot from the 1960s / 1970s. A magnificent workshop piece in brutalist and Wabi-Sabi style, completely in line with the creations of the famous Dutch ceramist Pieter Groeneveldt, known for his work on organic textures. Incredible "bark" or "lava foam" texture work, very pronounced, raw and volcanic, blending earthy brown and anthracite shades. Superb contrast with a smooth, shiny black/anthracite glaze. Dimensions: Height: 9 cm. Diameter: 16 cm. An ideal size for a catch-all, decorative object, or cache-pot (stunning effect when paired with wood or Scandinavian furniture). In very good vintage condition. No signature under the base. Please note a tiny original texture loss on the upper rim, quite normal and typical of this type of raw artisanal manufacturing.
