A former aerospace engineer, he dedicated himself to ceramics from the 1960s and settled in Biot in 1976. He is known for his glazed stoneware sculptures depicting a fantastical universe populated by human and animal figures, as well as for his research on glazes. His work is exhibited in numerous public and private collections in France and abroad, and he has received several international awards, including gold medals from Faenza and Vallauris.
