Robert vernet-bonfort is a french painter and lithographer, born in marseille in 1934. Affected in everyday life by profound deafness, he took refuge in painting which allowed him to express himself in a colorful and expressive language. He began by studying the great old and contemporary masters, then chose his own style, preferring to remain faithful to the figurative. Over the years, through incessant work of eight to ten hours a day, he sought a certain perfectionism, both in the search for composition and in the use of tones.
