Important oak-framed mirror with beveled glass - Napoleon III period and style.

Important complex wall mirror. In Napoleon III style. Late 19th century. Frame made of wood with a complex design. Beautiful and wide beveled molding (1 mm oak veneer on fir) Wood and gilded stucco frame edge. The mirror frame is in very good overall condition. (very slight indentation of the veneer in some places) The original beveled glass is in very good condition; it has very slight pitting. (see photos) Total dimensions of the mirror: 89.5 X 63.5 cm. Dimensions of the glass: 66 X 40 cm. Thickness of the frame's molding: 3.4 cm (1 mm oak veneer) Width of the frame's molding: 12 cm. Weight: approximately 7 kg.
