Set of six Thonet N°561 Art Nouveau dining chairs, 1925

Set of six chairs from a Thonet model listed in the 1906 American catalogue, apparently never marketed in Europe. We will not attempt to describe the Art Nouveau patterns of this chair; the photos speak for themselves. This is model No. 561; seat height: 47 cm, total height: 89 cm, diameter: 41 cm. The colour of this set is in the "rosewood decoration," a specificity of the brand. The lot is in perfect condition, ready for use. The construction of this lot, as indicated by the labeling, dates from the 1925, made in Czechoslovakia in the Austro-Hungarian factories of the firm established since 1850.
