Tripod cup WMF in silver-plated brass, Germany, 1960s

Elegant vintage tripod bowl produced by the famous German manufacturer WMF – Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik. Made of silver-plated brass, it is marked on the reverse with WMF – EP Brass – Germany. Its low silhouette rests on three small spherical feet and features a remarkable radiating decoration crafted in the metal. Depending on the orientation and light, the surface comes alive with silver and gold reflections reminiscent of crystallisation. A very beautiful decorative object in the spirit of Mid-Century German design, likely related to WMF's Ikora range. Dimensions: diameter 26 cm, height approximately 5 cm. The bowl shows a consistent patina of use in line with its age: micro-scratches, a few scratches, and superficial marks. These marks are visible in the photographs. Nevertheless, it retains all its character and a very beautiful decorative effect. Perfect as a centrepiece, fruit bowl, key dish, or simply displayed as a collector's item.
