Beautiful example of Danish design with this sturdy brutalist coffee table. A design by Rolf Middelboe and Gorm Lindum from the 1970s for Tranekaer Furniture. A furniture maker known at its founding for its craftsmanship and characteristic mosaic designs. This coffee table is also entirely made of solid wenge wood, with a top inlaid with mosaic blocks (1600 pieces!) that beautifully showcase the wenge grain. The beauty of timeless designs is that they fit into so many different interior styles: from classic to modern, from industrial and rock & roll to beach and boho.
