Decorative sideboard by Jos De Mey for Luxus, 1950s

Absolutely stunning sideboard designed by Jos De Mey for Luxus (Kortrijk) during the 1950s. These early fifties designs by De Mey are very hard to find and less known than his work for Van Den Berghe-Pauvers. It’s only the third time that I could find one of these and definitely the first time with these beautiful and original white laminated sliding doors. Combined with the contrast of the walnut and the black lacquered metal base this is a very timeless and decorative piece. Unique find in great restored condition!.
