Trade drawer counter – Napoleon III / Belle Époque period – Oak

Large oak workbench in a very horizontal format, featuring 9 wide and shallow drawers organized in three columns of three rows, separated by intermediate uprights. The original cast silvered steel handles are label-holder type, adorned with a laurel decoration and a fleur-de-lis at the top, characteristic of the late 19th century. The warm brown oak patina shows natural wear consistent with the period, with light marks and scratches on the top. The top overhangs at the rounded corners. The piece rests on a discreet molded base. The overall design suggests use in haberdashery, pharmacy, or printing, from the Napoléon III to the Belle Époque period. Workshop report: cleaning completed and hot wax applied for protection of the original patina. All drawer slides have been reviewed by a cabinetmaker; perfect sliding. Original handles in place. Entirely original piece. Dimensions: H. 82 cm × L. 350 cm × D. 59 cm. Weight: 200 kg. Delivery in France: €500. Delivery in Europe upon request. Export EDET upon request.
