Old door with a bronze handle

Small solid wood door with veneer on the outer surface, featuring a latch adorned with a lovely little hand-shaped handle holding a cylindrical object (probably patinated gold metal or bronze). Originally likely a bedside door, it could be used to conceal an electrical panel, a small recess in an old house, or to complement another antique piece of furniture. It has a hinge at the top and bottom. It is in generally good condition but shows its age, probably around a hundred years: slight marks, the veneer is slightly peeling at the corners at the bottom, and there is superficial corrosion on the top and bottom fittings. It measures 49.5 cm in height, 26.5 cm in width, and 1.9 cm in thickness.
