Saint-Clément plate with polychrome floral decoration

Charming earthenware plate signed Saint-Clément. A piece with lovely floral design. The decoration features a stylized flowering branch, rendered in shades of deep blue, leafy green, bright yellow, and warm brown. The rim is punctuated by green geometric checkered patterns, highlighted in red and yellow, creating a lively, balanced, and highly decorative whole. The slightly scalloped edge softens the lines and enhances the piece's elegance. Stamped Saint Clément PD/23: originating in the heart of Lorraine, the Saint-Clément factory has been perpetuating a renowned expertise since the 19th century, blending earthenware tradition with a keen sense of decoration. In beautiful vintage condition, very glossy, with no minor scratches from use, and two or three glaze imperfections on the back (see photos). Diameter 24.5 cm. A plate that naturally finds its place in the soft vintage revival style.
