Three spade flowers, rare in white ceramic, designed by René Barba. Size: 27 cm in length and 5 cm in width. René Barba is of Cuban origin, trained at Miami Dade Community College in Miami and then at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. He has always had the idea, from a young age, of becoming a designer. He lives and works in France. In his creations, René Barba tries to combine minimalism and comfort, but he also seeks new functions for objects. Among his creations are: for Serax, the Capizzi armchair and Hurricane vases; for Umbra, the Penta chair; for Cristal de Sèvres, vases; for Markhbein Kibic, collections of vases, glasses, and coloured glass carafes; for Soca, chairs, sofas, and tables.
