Nourished by various stays in Central America, Sophie Parachey's work questions the change of scenery, the antagonism of the ancestral and the modern, and the relationship to the living. His pieces are modeled in sandstone or collected earth, which are expressed according to their curves, textures and resonances. Rough or smoothed, they tell together a paradoxical universe.
