We are delighted to offer for sale this superb and exceptionally rare suite of two Queen Anne style accent chairs with a matching side table featuring original floral painting dating from around 1810-1820, sourced from the 300-year-old Glenalmond house in Perthshire. This suite is exceptionally well-made and highly collectible; it is very rare to find a set with original paint, and they have a period look, are decorative, and resemble pure art furniture from every angle. The patina is completely original and unaltered. The chairs come from the West Glenalmond estate, near Crieff, Perthshire. Conichan is a charming farm over 300 years old nestled in the Sma' Glen at the heart of the 6500-acre West Glenalmond estate. We have cleaned, waxed, and polished the suite from top to bottom. In terms of condition, the chairs and table are solid and stable, the frames have been checked and secured, and the upholstery is Victorian and very worn. There will be signs of age-related patina throughout, as one would expect from pieces over 210 years old. The products are available in different sizes: the chairs measure 55 cm in width, 100 cm in height, and 59 cm in depth, while the table measures 67 cm in width, 71 cm in height, and 48 cm in depth. Please note that all measurements are taken at the widest point. For any additional or specific measurements, please feel free to ask. Do not hesitate to ask questions before bidding. The condition is good with wear consistent with age and use, with slight discolouration.
