Brutalist Style Salon Table by Paul Kingma

This is a well made coffee/salon table made in the brutalist style by paul kingma for fedamof the netherlands. Kingma was a dutch artist and sculptor responsible for the creation of many original brutalist and expressionistic mosaic tables in combination of materials. The inspiration of this table is reminiscent of a brutalist sculpture was its geometric top has geometric pieces of slate, brass stripes, brass rings and old coins. The rounded edges on the oblong table adds to the elegance of the design and style. The condition is very good with minor chips around the base. Overall, it is stunning, sturdy and very heavy. Made in the 1980’s and each a bespoke hand made piece.
