Reading scene

Small oil on cardboard signed, dated and dedicated: "to mrs. Helena, hommage amical, albert coquin 1931". Through its subject and its naive aesthetic, this touching little painting immerses us in a wealthy interior from the interwar period. It is in perfectly good condition but has visible defects in photos (the pictorial layer is stable). The back also supports a whole history of the use of this cardboard. The unframed painting measures 24 cm high by 28.5 cm wide. The wooden frame is in very good condition.
